Twitter Experiences Issues Again, Users Unable to View Links and Images
Twitter is once again experiencing issues, with multiple users, including those on the TechCrunch team, unable to view links and images on the social network. According to reports on third-party web monitoring service Downdetector, the issues began at around 11:50 a.m. ET.
Clicking on a link brings up an error message that says “Your current API plan does not include access to this endpoint, please see https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/twitter-api for more information.” The link in the error message also appears to be broken.
Unfortunately, Twitter no longer has a media relations department and cannot be contacted for comment about the issues.
This latest outage comes about a week after Elon Musk slashed more than 200 jobs in the latest round of layoffs at the company. The cuts involved Twitter Blue head Esther Crawford and newsletter app Revue’s Martijn de Kuijper.
